Meet the Doctors

William Hesse, DVM

Practice Owner/Veterinarian

Bill Hesse graduated from University of Louisville in 1988 and went on to graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 to receive his DVM. He and his wife, Lynn Hesse, have 5 sons, 1 Miniature Australian Shepherd, and 1 Yorkie. In his spare time, he enjoys running, scuba diving, and traveling. His veterinary interests include Dermatology and Surgery.

Alexis Wallace, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Alexis Wallace attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY and earned a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. She then attended Louisiana State University where she received a Masters Degree in Reproductive Physiology. Dr. Wallace returned to the Bluegrass State to work in research at the University of Kentucky's Medical School. She then graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in June of 1990. She resides on a small farm with her menagerie of animals. Her interests include gardening, horseback riding, reading and enjoying life in general.

Lisa Stephens, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Lisa Stephens attended Purdue University as an undergraduate, then proceeded to graduate from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 to receive her DVM. She has two children and loves her labrador retriever and french bulldog. Dr. Stephens has interests in Internal Medicine and Animal Physiology.

Alysa Vazquez, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Alysa Vazquez graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She has a one-eyed Yorkshire Terrier who she loves very much. She enjoys helping animals in any way she can to help them live a long, happy life!
